Could you please give me the recipe? I have tried making mozzarella but it hasn’t really turned out.

I use Dr. Frankhauser’s recipe: If you are using store bought milk, it won’t work because most of the milk has been pasteurized at high temperatures. You can add some calcium carbonate tablets, I’m told, and it will work, but you’re best bet is to get a hold of some unpasteurized milk and then heat-treat it at lower temperatures if you are uncomfortable with raw milk. However with mozzarella, you do end up heating the cheese when you melt it, so you don’t actually have to pasteurize at all. The heebeegeebers should die when it gets melted:)

How do I find Dr. Frankhauser’s recipe? I raise and milk my jersey cow. My cheese isn’t stretching. Thanks; gina
